My name is Mari and I am the Founder of The Motherhood Box Co. I am a devoted wife to my hubby of 11 years and we have 3 precious kiddos ages 3,4, & 9. Apart from being a mom and wife I am also a Registered Nurse with 19+ years experience, I am a certified lactation consultant and a mother/baby nurse consultant.

 

I am humbled and overjoyed at once, to introduce The Motherhood Box Co. This part heart-mission, part business, part calling comes from many years of responding to medical emergencies, some that could be explained and helped, and others where human hands were simply not enough.

My profession as a Registered Nurse in New York, NY mostly in the Emergency Room, but also Pediatrics and L&D ,allowed me to see first-hand, the trials and suffering that human beings go through. My experiences also positioned me to understand medically, what I would later struggle to understand as a mother.  

 

It was while nursing my precious Charlie, one morning, that I got the desire to curate a care package specifically for parents of premature babies. So, Motherhood Box Co is birthed out of pain, reflection, and a place of love. It comes with the desire to lighten the load and to ensure every NICU mom or dad feels supported and loved.

 

The Motherhood Box Co is designed to care for mamas in every stage of motherhood. From pregnancy to postpartum, preemies to full term babies, vaginal births to c-sections, I believe every mama is important and every mama counts! I want each and every woman, mother now or mother to be, to know that she is deeply loved by her Heavenly Father today. Moreover, I want every mother to remember to take it one day at a time. You can't pour from an empty cup, so remember to fill yours up! Allow yourself grace to grow and rest when you can. Enjoy your motherhood journey and most importantly never forget how amazing you are!
